Terms and Conditions of the Index CSGOV service

1. Basic information

2. What the service offers

Index CSGOV automatically tests the accessibility and speed of websites and provides:

• A combined accessibility and speed score (ICS)
• A report of the accessibility issues found
• Measurement history (depending on the plan)

Testing is performed with automated tools (Pa11y, axe-core) and as such may cover 25–30% of the criteria. The results do not replace a manual accessibility audit.

4. Registration and account

• By registering you agree to these terms.
• One natural or legal person = one account.
• One account can manage multiple websites on different plans
• You are responsible for the security of your password.
• You can cancel your account at any time in the settings.

5. Payments (Index PRO)

• Price: CZK 4,200/year (equivalent to CZK 350/month).
• Payment in advance by bank transfer.
• The subscription renews automatically. You can cancel it at any time – it runs until the end of the paid period.
• We send the invoice electronically to the account email.
• Refunds: If you cancel within 30 days, we refund a proportional part for the unused whole months.

6. Rules of use

You may:

• Test websites you own or manage
• Test publicly available third-party websites
• Use the data for internal purposes as well as public reports

You may not:

• Abuse the service to overload other people's servers
• Circumvent the limits (fake accounts, automated requests outside the API)
• Present the results as an official accessibility certification

7. Public catalogue

• The Free and Public Sector plans are publicly visible in the catalogue.
• The Trial plan is not in the catalogue, but the website page is publicly accessible.
• An Index PRO website can be hidden – in that case it disappears from the public catalogue and the page is not publicly accessible
• Hiding does not mean deleting data – only invisibility in the catalogue.

8. Availability and warranties

• We aim for 99% availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
• We announce planned outages in advance by email.
• Test results are informative. We are not liable for their completeness or accuracy.
• A test may not run successfully if the target website uses strong anti-bot protection, is unavailable, or blocks automated requests. In that case no results are displayed.
• We are not liable for damages arising from the use or non-use of the service.

9. Personal data protection

We only process:

• Email and password (for signing in)
• URLs of the tested websites
• Test results
• Billing details

We do not collect analytical data about your behaviour and we do not sell data to third parties.

10. Termination of the service

You can at any time:

• Cancel your account (Edit profile → Cancel account)
• When you cancel your account, all your websites are switched to the Trial plan and deleted after 30 days. If you want to keep a website, transfer it to another user before cancelling your account.
• Cancel the subscription (it runs until the end of the period)

After Index PRO expires:

• The website is automatically switched to the Free plan, keeping the current data.

We may cancel your account if:

• You violate the rules of use
• The account is inactive for more than 12 months (free plan)

Before cancellation we will notify you by email and give you 14 days to remedy the situation (except for serious violations).

11. Changes to the terms

• We inform about changes by email at least 14 days in advance.
• If you disagree, you can cancel your account.
• By continuing to use the service after the effective date of the changes, you agree to them.

12. Dispute resolution

• Governed by Czech law.
• We resolve disputes first by agreement (write to us).
• Consumers can use out-of-court dispute resolution at the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz).
